In 2020, a select group of HP Australia’s commercial partners, known as ‘HP Elite Partners’, won the ultimate UK Wimbledon experience for exceptional sales performance. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the trip was sadly postponed to 2022.
In true ‘pandemic pivot’ fashion, the destination shifted to 'backyard luxury' at one of Australia’s most revered destinations, Hayman Island. An epic, bespoke escape with idyllic seaside experiences, the trip was designed to soothe away any pandemic blues, while offering the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime reward for hard working sales staff.
During the trip, guests enjoyed a private chef's dinner with the incomparable and award winning, Matt Moran. The unique, themed experience was filled with bespoke storytelling around HP's philosophy of 'Reinvention', a host of surprises and interactive gastronomical delights.
The week-long trip was capped off with ‘Sunset Sessions’; a live, private concert experience featuring iconic Aussie songstresses, Mahalia Barnes and Kate Cebrano. The chilled, yet premium festival atmosphere overlooking the idyllic Hayman Beach was the perfect send off for perfect sales staff.
Results
- The group reported a 100% satisfaction rating for the overall experience
- 84.6% of guests reported increased sales performance during the incentive campaign period
- 46.1% reported that they implemented more creative sales techniques to meet the incentive goals
- 76.9% of participants noted a deeper brand engagement with HP during the incentive campaign period
- 46% of attendees reported a behavioural shift stating that they find it extremely important to completely overhaul their sales behaviour to only sell the SKUs featured in the incentive whilst 56% agreed that it was important to strive hard to sell the SKUs when relevant.
