With a goal to drive foot traffic to Suncorp’s new Pitt St store and increase brand awareness in an unfamiliar market, customers were invited to ‘Money with Sunny’ and take part in a unique customer experience over three days.
Reflecting Suncorp’s new ‘Money with Sunny’ advertisement, 5,000 passers-by in Wynyard Station and Pitt St Mall were greeted by freestyle hip hop performers and offered free fresh chilled orange juice, some containing a unique code printed on a ‘peel and reveal’ label.
Encouraging locals to cross the lease line, codes were available to redeem at the ‘Money with Sunny’ activation station in the Suncorp Pitt St Store, with the bench dispensing between $250 - $5,000 on the spot prizes. The activation was supported by out of home advertising and branded elements aimed at ‘taking over’ Wynyard Station.
